Resumen
Description of the Position
Plays a critical role in optimizing aircraft maintenance operations by designing, developing, and maintaining a robust Maintenance Database. Responsible for the comprehensive management of maintenance data, including job cards, man hours, materials, tools, equipment, and other essential resources, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency. Ensures that all documentation and processes comply with FAA aviation regulations, customer specifications, and LTPR standards.
Essential Responsibilities
Database Maintenance & Data Management
Serve as a subject matter expert in all processes related to Database design, management, and optimization.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of Maintenance records, leveraging advanced data validation and quality assurance techniques.
Create, update, and manage Maintenance Database in accordance with operational requirements, ensuring strict compliance with FAA aviation regulations, customer requirements, and LTRP processes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of production capabilities and certification requirements, applying regulatory expertise to database management.
Timely update the Maintenance Database with the latest revisions of applicable Maintenance Data and related documents, ensuring documentation accuracy and regulatory alignment.
Review and analyze maintenance data, Work station allocation documents, Critical Maintenance Task Lists, and other technical records to identify and assign tasks such as CDCCL, AD, EO, Component Changes, CPCP, special/NDT, Critical Tasks, Independent Inspections, Access, Man Hours, Materials, Tools, Equipment, workstations, production phases, and tasks referring to lower-level Maintenance Data.
Prepare coversheet Job Cards and implement TPM/JPM or other customer-specific requirements into the Maintenance Database.
Implement customer‑specific requirements such as TPM/JPM into planning and job card processes.
Apply industry best practices in data management, regulatory compliance, and process optimization to enhance maintenance outcomes.
Coordination, Collaboration & Communication
Collect and incorporate feedback from Production, Quality, PED (MP, PMO), Logistics, Tooling, customers, and other stakeholders to optimize database quality and operational efficiency.
Tune and adapt processes to meet evolving customer requirements, driving continuous improvement in maintenance operations.
Collaborate with PED colleagues and quality departments to enhance maintenance processes and address database-related requirements and issues.
Liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, including quality departments and operations units, to ensure seamless communication and process alignment.
Provide daily operational inputs regarding maintenance documentation availability and usage.
Team development
Supervise and mentor engineers, providing guidance and support, and inspecting the quality of their work to ensure high standards.
Lead training initiatives for new colleagues, fostering technical skill development and knowledge transfer within the team.
Participate in the development and amendment of internal manuals and work procedures, contributing to organizational knowledge and process excellence.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Ensure FAA Part 145 compliance and adherence to RSQCM, IQ MOVE, and training program requirements
Identify process inefficiencies, propose improvements, and support harmonization of procedures with Production and PED.
Continuously improve and enhance the quality of Maintenance Database through innovative process improvements and implementation of industry best practices.
Perform rigorous Maintenance Database quality checks, utilizing analytical skills to identify and resolve inconsistencies or errors in accordance with LTPR processes.
Check documentation quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and support customer and quality audits.
Enable timely, efficient, and high-quality creation of aircraft maintenance databases, while driving ongoing process optimization and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Education, Skills, and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Engineering or in relevant engineering field.
Minimum of two years of experience in aircraft maintenance / design / manufacturing environment.
Professional training in aircraft maintenance with a minimum of three years of experience in aircraft maintenance / design / manufacturing environment
Holder of a company authorization (if applicable) or relevant experience to enable faster acceptance of authorization.
General familiarization course for at least two of the aircraft types maintained in the facility primarily stationed.
Good understanding of creation and control of customer maintenance programs and MPD
Excellent knowledge of aircraft documentation, strong understanding of airworthiness, FAA requirements and aviation regulations, industry standards, and best practices for aircraft maintenance.
Ability to interpret Customer & OEM technical documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP/mJobCard advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
Methodical and well-organized approach to tasks, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Experience in report writing and documentation.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong time management skills and ability to deliver under deadlines.
Flexible and adaptable to changing work environments and operational demands.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
