• (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-7 level. Specialized Experience* may include but not limited to: Experience demonstrating accomplishments in practical technical aviation operations; utilizing computerized database systems or knowledge of common software applications; and performing analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills. TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE FG/GS-9 LEVEL you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one
• (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the FG/GS-8 level. Specialized experience* may include but not limited to: Experience in gathering and compiling aviation safety data; analyzing aviation safety information for the purpose of identifying trends; preparing technical reports/documents; and assisting in aviation investigations such as complaints, occurrences, incidents, accidents and/or violations. Typically, preferred candidates will show technical training and/or certification experience applicable to a regulatory aviation environment. *Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
