Administrative Manager (Direct Hire)

The Facilities Management Division Chief is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and operational oversight for all real property, infrastructure, and facility support operations across Goddard's portfolio. The incumbent directs comprehensive programs including building operations, maintenance and repairs, capital improvements, space allocation, energy management, and contract administration to ensure safe, secure, efficient, and sustainable physical working environments.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Directing, coordinating, and managing full-lifecycle facility operations, maintenance, and engineering services for a large-scale, multi-facility, or high-complexity campus environment; Leading multi-phase capital improvement and infrastructure renewal projects, including scope development, design review, cost estimating, and project closeout; Developing, defending, and executing complex annual operating and capital budgets.
