FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (BOWLING)-DIX

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Bowling Facility, Fort Dix, NJ.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must be able to follow simple oral instructions, be able to use hand tools for cleaning and operate simple machines. Must be skilled in doing tasks with several steps and use judgment in sequencing tasks. Must have knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food, and for cleaning equipment and work area. Experience in operation of a cash register, direct handling of cash items and cash accountability is desired. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess skill in dealing with the public. Must be able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand and walk, frequently stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods of time.
