Are you looking to launch or grow your career in SAP administration? We are seeking a Junior SAP Basis Administrator to join a global technology team supporting enterprise SAP environments. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with SAP technologies while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
? Monitor SAP systems to ensure optimal performance, stability, and availability.
? Assist with:
- Transport management
- Client administration
- Job scheduling
? Support system maintenance activities, including backups and recovery procedures.
? Respond to SAP Basis tickets, incidents, and service requests.
? Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and system records.
? Participate in:
- System upgrades
- Patch implementations
- Migration testing activities
? Assist with audit and compliance requirements through reporting and system validation.
? Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to maintain a secure and reliable SAP environment.
Qualifications
Required
? Bilingual (English and Spanish)
? Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
? Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience
? Understanding of SAP Basis concepts, including:
- SAP system architecture
- Transport management
- Client administration
? Familiarity with SAP landscapes, transport routes, and client copy processes
? Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
? Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established procedures and change management processes
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience with:
- SAP ECC
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP Solution Manager
? Knowledge of SAP monitoring tools and enterprise SAP environments
? Experience using ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
? Strong desire to learn and grow within SAP Basis Administration
