We’re seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to work at a premier pharmaceutical/ biotechnology industry leader in Juncos, PR.

Location : On Site position at Juncos Puerto Rico, US

Salary : $45.00 hr – W2

Shift : 8hrs shift | Administrative – Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with work schedule flexibility as required to support 24/7 operations, requiring occasional after-hours engineering coverage.

Requirements:

- Master degree in Engineering and 2 yrs experience OR Bachelor degree in Engineering and 4 years of experience within Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.

- Knowledge of Packaging Equipment and Packaging Processes.

- Experience with Design and Development of New Equipment and Manufacturing Processes.

- Validation experience, including protocol development and execution.

- Strong Engineering Project Management experience.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish

The Sr Packaging Engineer is responsible to provide advanced engineering support and improve packaging operations through design enhancements, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot operational and process-related issues using engineering and scientific methodologies. Develop innovative technical solutions for complex engineering challenges. Evaluate manufacturing and packaging processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance. Support scale-up activities and implementation of new technologies.
