Field Research Assistant

The Field Research Assistant will potentially perform a variety of routine tasks associated with the Phytogen Seed Company research program. The tasks will include any or all of those described for the Field and Processing Worker. In addition, the Technician’s Assistant will perform additional tasks as required by the supervising Field Technician. These tasks may include, under close supervision of the Field Supervisor: assisting with the repair and maintenance of field equipment, limited operation of field equipment, organization of samples during harvest and/or processing, and limited driving of a company vehicle. The type of task will be dependent on the stage of the annual research program and will be seasonal in nature. Tasks may be performed in an indoor and/or outdoor setting.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Natural Science (Biology or Environmental Science), Statistics, Mathematics or Information Systems.
