Details
- HSS Puerto Rico (Hospitality Staffing Solutions) said on its Facebook page that it will take part in this fair, with job opportunities in North Carolina.
- On November 5 the government announced that this fair is also the first of four services fairs for workers displaced by the closing of KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and IHOP (Encanto Restaurants): help filing for Unemployment Insurance on site, guidance on wages, vacation and the Christmas bonus, PAN, child care, the Vital card, psychological support and more than 50 employers. The DDEC said it runs until 3:00 p.m.; the flyer says 2:00 p.m. Arrive early. (Sources: DDEC and DTRH, November 4 and 5.)
- Open to the whole community and neighboring towns. Coordinated by Conexión Laboral, Northeast Local Area. If you don't have a résumé, they help you write one on site, and there is job-search guidance.
- Fair funded with WIOA funds from the U.S. Department of Labor.
- Conexión Laboral is an equal opportunity employer/program. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.
