Without an account

MyPRjobs never requires an account to search for jobs or to apply. Your saved jobs, the resume you write in the resume builder and your language preference are stored only in your browser (localStorage) and never leave your device unless you choose to save them to an account.

With an account (optional)

If you create an account (with email and password or with Google), we store your email, your profile name and whatever you choose to sync: up to 5 resumes and your favorite jobs. That data is private to your account: database-level security rules guarantee that only you can read your resumes; neither other users nor MyPRjobs administrators have access. You can delete it at any time from "My account". Employer accounts also store the company's public profile and its published listings.

Service providers

  • Supabase hosts the database and account authentication. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email and profile photo with us; nothing more.
  • Google Analytics 4 gives us aggregate usage statistics (pages visited, searches by category) using cookies. We configure analytics to never send personal information: no names, no emails, no phone numbers, and never the contents of your resume.
  • Advertising: the site is funded by advertising space. When we show third-party ads, external vendors (Google among them) may set and read cookies in your browser, use web beacons and receive your IP address to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google uses advertising cookies for this; you can turn off Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and read how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Vendors other than Google can be opted out at optout.aboutads.info.

We do not sell your personal data. Outside the service providers listed above, we do not share your information with third parties.

YouTube

MyPRjobs uses YouTube API Services for one thing only: uploading to our own channel (@MyPRjobs) the short videos we produce summarizing job openings. That use does not access, collect or store any data from site visitors or from other YouTube users: the only connected account is our own. When you watch our content on YouTube, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy also apply. The authorization our own account grants to our system can be revoked at any time on Google's security permissions page. We store no data obtained from YouTube: our system only sends videos, it reads nothing.

Cookies and local storage

We use localStorage for your preferences and drafts (language, resume, saved jobs) and also to keep your session when you sign in; the session does NOT travel in cookies. Cookies proper we use for Google Analytics statistics, and for the advertising vendors described above when ads are shown. You can clear everything from your browser settings.

Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, state law (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) gives you these rights over your personal information:

  • Know and access: ask us which categories of personal information we collect and request a copy of yours.
  • Correct inaccurate information and delete what we hold about you.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information.
  • Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights: the site works the same for everyone.

What we collect is described above, and it is little: identifiers (email and name, only if you create an account), aggregated usage activity (Google Analytics, with no personal information), and — on days when ads are shown — the advertising cookies of the providers listed. We do not sell personal information for money. Third-party advertising cookies may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out through the links in the advertising section (adssettings.google.com and optout.aboutads.info) and by clearing cookies in your browser. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us through the contact page. We respond within the 45 days the law sets, and we verify identity only with what is needed to locate your data (normally, your account email).

Your choices

  • Use the full site without creating an account.
  • Delete your resumes and saved jobs from "My account" whenever you want.
  • Request full deletion of your account and its data through the contact page.
